Every other paper on this list is a result. This one is a name. I work with no domain training and I do not write code, but nothing enters the record unless it can be replayed — so I gave the method the name it earned: trace coding. A human steers one or more frontier models under a provenance gate; the models explore; the logged trace is the author of record. It sits next to what the industry already calls vibe coding, and it is the subclass that refuses an unlogged step. No replay, no theorem.
The distinction is not mine to invent, and I do not claim it is. Andrej Karpathy named vibe coding; Simon Willison drew the line — if you cannot review, test, or explain what the model wrote, that is vibe coding. Trace coding keeps the loop but puts a constitution on it: what a model may propose, what must be checked, what may be deposited, and what is refused. On critical infrastructure a tagout log is not paperwork — it is the difference between a system you can take apart and a system that will take you apart. I built the research the same way.
What the gate kept is the FG-1 line — seven public mathematics papers walked deposit by deposit, from the July-4 seed to Paper G: first-exit from positivity (A), the exact inverse perturbation problem (B), realizability premiums in chirotope metrics (C), prescribed-dominance backward error (the Frontier paper), certificate margins in sign-vector systems (E), rank-two transition geometry (F), and Paper G, where the line closes as a theorem: on a governed single-mutation fiber in Gr(3,6), the compatibility order is three (h_full = h_aff = 3).
The honest shape is stated in the note. A Zenodo record is a timestamp, a hash, a license, and an ORCID — not peer review, not adoption, not a field moving. I am not claiming the models proved anything unaided, or that ungoverned prompting is a research method. I am claiming that a provenance constitution can carry a non-specialist across a stretch of live questions — exact inverse perturbation, realizability premiums, multidirectional nearness, certificate margins, a Helly number on a governed fiber — provided the constitution is stricter than the chat. Vibe coding optimizes for a running demo; trace coding optimizes for a replayable chain. The work is the log.

Method note: language-model tools assisted with prose and analysis-code generation under author-defined statements, checks, and reporting constraints; I reviewed and take responsibility for every analysis and claim.
